IMPORTANT REMINDERS IN USING THIS GUIDE

  • Before you print the guide, be sure to check that page scaling is set to "none" or “100%”on your print dialog box. Use an A4 paper in printing the ring size guide.

  • To ensure the accuracy of the printed sizer, use a ruler and measure the bar in the box to the right

  • Measure the right finger on the correct hand. Engagement rings and wedding rings are traditionally worn on the fourth finger on the left hand.

  • Pull the sizer tightly. The sizer must fit snugly to produce an accurate size.

  • Body temperature can affect the ring size. Fingers can shrink or expand when hot or cold. Measure the finger at a normal body temperature.

  • Your fingers tend to change size throughout the day. Measure your finger in the evening so your ring will be comfortable after a typical day of activity.

  • If your knuckle is bigger, take 2 measurements and choose a size in between — ring needs to fit over knuckle but not be too loose or it will shift around.

  • Rings over 5mm in width will fit a bit tighter than rings of the same size in narrower widths.The wider the band, the tighter it may feel. You may need to go up by a half.

Measure the above bar to ensure it has printed exactly 2 inches, or 50mm, long. It measurement si not accurate, ring size measurement will not be completed properly.

GETTING YOUR RING SIZE
OPTION 1:

  1. Cut a piece of string, yarn or a thin strip of paper to at least 3 inches long

  2. Wrap it around the base of the finger. Make sure it’s snug to produce an accurate size.

  3. Mark where the ends overlap using a pen or a marker

  4. Lay the string/yarn/paper flat against a ruler to measure the length in millimeters

  5. Use the Ring Size Conversion Chart below to find the corresponding ring size.

  1. Place a ring that you already own (or have borrowed, if this is a surprise engagement or a gift) over the circles to the right.

  2. Match the inside of the ring to the circle nearest in size. The measurements shown refer to the inside diameter of the ring.
